Nomad Travels is run by Smooth Byte IT in the United Kingdom. The short version: we keep as little as possible.

Your trip stays on your device

There are no accounts. Your trip, your visa clock stays and your booking checklist are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device only. We never receive them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

What our server sees

Like any website, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type and time) to keep the service secure and working. When you follow a partner link, our server records which partner it was, but nothing about you or your trip.

Other services the page uses

• Map tiles load from OpenFreeMap, which sees your IP address when your browser requests them.
• Partner sites (for example Booking.com or Trainline) have their own privacy policies and may use cookies to track a referral once you arrive there.

Cookies

The planner doesn’t set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Because your trip data never leaves your device, in practice this only covers server logs.
